I use a variation of this standard spec, putting the points from Healing Way into other, more immediately useful talents, such as Elemental Weapons, as I feel this benefits my healing more than reduced pushback, especially as I shouldn't be the target in a raid.
What glyphs do you use and why?
I currently use:
-Riptide, as it allows my HoT to carry on ticking longer, for no extra mana, which can have some noticeable repercussions on longer fights.
-Earth Shield, because it gives the tank just that little extra EH, and can give a slight leeway to the tank healer(s).
-Chain Heal, So that I can more effectively heal the raid.
Gem choices(Explain why you've socketted like you've done):
I have never found mana to be an issue in fights in ICC with my current gear, so I followed all the advice and stacked as much haste as possible, to bring my cast times as close to their minimum as possible.
Profession skill(Why did you choose these?):
I chose Herb and Alch. Herb mainly to fuel the Alch. Alch to supply my own potions, and get the increased duration and effect. Also, the gold can be quite nice =)
Current and previous guild(s) and your reason for leaving:
On this server, I have yet to join a guild, having only recently transferred here from Alliance on Twilight's Hammer, where I also have an 80 Hunter, who was my Main until recently.

What raiding experience do you have?(LIST EVERYTHING)
On this character I have 8/12 ICC10 6/12 ICC25
On my hunter I have experience of 11/12 ICC10/25 with several attempts on LK
Ulduar up to Hodir
All of Naxx and EoE etc.
How do you prepare for new content?
I prepare for new content by finding out as much information as possible on the encounters, be they video or text. EG Portals on DW.
I then try to find out my particular role in the fight, and if necessary get re-enchanted/gemmed.
Why do you like raiding?
To be honest I myself am not 100% sure on this. Its an amalgamation of many different aspects I enjoy. I like working as part of a well oiled machine, but at the same time, I also enjoy having a laugh while we kill/wipe a boss. I do like getting new gear, but it is the least of my priorities in a raid. I prefer to see the group get better as a whole, rather than pull ahead.

Wednesday 19-22:30 - Yes ordinarily, but still unsure as to my new college timetable.

- mmo-champion is a site I frequent a lot, as it has lots of varied and useful opinions on many aspects of gameplay, for any class you choose.
- Tankspot is an invaluable tool for learning boss fights, and I ensure I watch these 2-3 times at least before I try a new encounter.

I want to join Meliora Cogito because I find your name intriguing, and you have a lot of Ideals that match my feelings towards gameplay etc.
- What do you expect from us?
I expect nothing more than an enjoyable place to play with likeminded individuals, who all strive to achieve a common goal.
- What should we expect from you?
A level-headed, mature player, who is not afraid to listen and take onboard anything and everything thrown my way. I am more than happy to sit on a boss for hours if it means the guild can progress to new heights.
- Can you take (sometimes harsh) criticism?
Definitely. Doubly so if it means I can perform better as a player.
- What is your greatest weakness as a WoW player?
I am willing to invest far too much of my free time into whatever needs doing in-game, be it hours of farming, or hours of boss attempts. Not always a bad thing, but I am always online far too much =P
- What is your your greatest strength as a WoW player?
Can take the good with the bad. I don't get disheartened over a wipe/loot, and will always bounce back with as much enthusiasm as the first attempt.
- What is your pvp experience:
My PvP experience as Ele is reasonable at best. I play BGs with friends on vent, where we can single out specific people to nuke to oblivion.
- Favourite artist/band:
I listen to Death/Black metal, my current music tastes are Lamb of God, Meshuggah, Nile and so forth.
- Favourite movies:
Erm... Do we have all day?
- The Fast and Furious Quadrilogy, as it pertains to my college course.
- Space Jam, just a classic piece of awesomesauce.
- Matrix Trilogy, lets face it, who doesn't.
