Iblaze

-- Personal Information --
Name: Tom
Age: 18
Country of Residence: England
Occupation: College
Internet connection specs(up and down speed, Do you often disconnect): 2meg download and upload is around 1meg. It's crap, but I dont get disconnected and I have a perfectly playable latency (<100ms)
Computer specification:
Processor: 3.1ghz dual core
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Graphics Card: nVidia 9600GT

What do you do outside of WoW: Erm, work, play on my PS3, and college. Although, most of my time is spent playing WoW Razz

-- In-game information --
Name: Iblaze
Race: Blood Elf
Class: Paladin
Specc(Motivate your talent choices): I'm 5/53/13. I have mainly the damage - and therefore threat - increasing talents as that's where I need to improve on, my general survivability is up to snuff.
What glyphs do you use and why?: Glyph of Divine Plea is the only *essential* prot paladin glyph I've come across. I also use Righteous Defense glyph, because I don't have much hit gear and need it. Hammer of the Righteous because I often find myself tanking large groups and this is unparalleled by other glyphs. The minor ones are all a convenience thing but I've got Sense Undead (which actually is nice), Lay on Hands which also comes in handy sometimes, and Kings for pure convenience and a lack of anything else Razz
Gem choices, explain why you've socketed like you have. : Stamina is by far the most popular tank stat to stack, that and armour. Seen as there ARE no armour gems it's been all out stamina. I have the purple gem for meta activation.
Profession skill:(Why did you choose these?) Currently am levelling Enchanting/JC. Both are around 320 and rising.
Current and previous guild(s) and your reason for leaving: Well, this being a new account (I quit before WotLK on my old one) My current guild is my only guild. But this guild is fairly casual, we only seem to raid when the GM feels like it :S It simply doesn't satisfy my hunger and although they are a great bunch I need more.
Current server: Sunstrider
Character profile: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sunstrider&cn=Iblaze
Screenshot of your UI: https://2img.net/h/oi38.tinypic.com/lbs6a.jpg Don't know why it's shrunk down but you get the gist. (Any UI buffs reading yeah it's basically ripped off of Muqq's)
Alts worth mentioning: Got a 75 Resto Druid which I'm in the *slow* process of levelling. I only play him when I LITERALLY have nothing else to do, hate levelling Razz

-- Raiding --
What raiding experience do you have?(LIST EVERYTHING) Well on my old account, I started in vanilla and TBC came out when I was level ~30, so once I finally got to 70 I cleared Kara, ZA, Gruuls, Maggy, TK, SSC, and some of BT. I quit shortly after. When I made my new account (only about 3 months ago) I got to 80 and have done 11/12 ICC10 and had experience on LK. Only done Gunship HC as my guild only recently killed the LK (that I missed :@). ICC25 is barely worth mentioning as I've only been there in PuGs, but I've done the first 4 with gunship on hc. Done ToC10/25.

How do you prepare for new content? I'll happily read up/watch tactics, reasearch bosses etc. Make sure to stock up on consumables and make sure I've got time.

Why do you like raiding? I've always had a passion for raiding. Progressing through a raid with a good atmosphere and a good group of people is brilliant, and I enjoy it constantly. Even a wipefest will barely annoy me (if it's in the name of progression of course Razz)

Which days can you normally attend, if not, why: I can and will be available all days, unless something exceptional comes up, but that's the same for everybody.
Wednesday 19-22:30
Thursday: 19-22:30
Sunday: 19-22:30
Monday: 19-22:30

-- Mandatory questions --
- Name 2 WoW related sites and discuss how they are useful tools for bettering your raiding ability: Does the armory count? I use that alot, mainly checking out other protection paladins in top guilds to drool over the gear. Also Wowhead, which is always open and I simply couldn't play wow without it.
- Do you have a microphone? (If the answer is "no", stop here) Yes I do
- Can your computer run Ventrilo? (If the answer is "no", stop here) Of course
- Are you a keyboard turner? Nooo
- What is your greatest weakness as a WoW player? Getting too into it, definitely. Constantly find myself dreaming about it and daydreaming of wow...
- What is your your greatest strength as a WoW player? Massively dedicated and keen. Ill do whatever it takes to up my game
- What is your pvp experience: I really hate pvp, mainly because Im TERRIBLE at it but I've barely done any on this char. Won my first duel last week, so you get the idea.
- Favourite artist/band: It varies, alot, but I've been listening to Coldplay alot recently. Although I like anything apart from screamo death metal and pop (just biebers on my kill list)
- Favourite movies: Err, Pulp Fictions up there, anything with Jason Statham. Rise of the Footsoldier, Green Street, Guy Ritchie films
- Cookies or bananas: Cookies, bananas are like, fruit!
- What's your favorite kind of pie? Any type has me drooling

We're currently not in need of a prot paladin.
